Things you put on your face, in front of your eyes. You can only wear one of them at a time. (There are not contact lenses in Cities yet).

Bebe Goggles

A development tool to allow a user to switch CSS to a test for BeBe's artwork. Bought for 200 gold from stores.

Try it - the graphics are awesome. Equipable for constant use. Syagrius 17:12, 7 March 2006 (GMT)
It seems to be under constant improvement. Just today I've noticed new monsters and certain terrain looks. Keep it like that! I just love these glasses.--LordAsriel 23:16, 20 June 2006 (BST)

Bort Goggles

These lenses show you Cities in a more Rogue-like fashion. 200 gold from general stores.

Field Glasses Military Fashion 3

Field glasses allow you to see the locations NE, SE, SW, and NW of your current location when worn. There is no movement penalty for wearing a pair of field glasses. The same effect can be obtained permanently by releasing a Snark.

Pair of Beer Goggles

When worn, gives all the effects of being totally hammered, including but not limited to:

  • You see Ghosts. Note that you only see Ghosts, not other invisible monsters (a very common misconception).
  • -150% to-hit. So you're not gonna hit any of those Ghosts that you can see now.
  • Everything starts to look really Sexy. Even the Cows and Sheep... restrain yourself!

Pair of Reading Glasses

Halves the AP cost of reading books when worn. Equippable.

Pair of Rose-Tinted Shades

Turns everything pink like drinking a Bottle of Rose.

Pair of Shades Pimp Fashion 5

Buy for 5000gp from General Stores. Equippable. When equipped, people with the ability to see invisible monsters (whether intrinsic or granted by an item) will stop seeing invisibles. Also can be used to prevent snow blindness, but not as effective as a Pair of Snow Goggles.

With regards to having the intrinsic ability to see invisibles and using shades to impede that ability - can shades wear out if you spend AP walking around in them, and what's the erosion rate on them?
they do wear out, so I try not to have them on at all time, but it's uncommon enough that the price of replacement is not too high--Solune 20:57, 15 April 2007 (BST)
