Have a horsie to hook it up to?

Old Computer Detritus

All of it sorts under Junk and without any usage: An obsolete piece of computing technology. You should probably have thrown it in the Earth City dump many years ago. --Tiltowait 21:33, 19 February 2009 (GMT)

120MB Hard Disk Drive
486 CPU
486 Motherboard
Beowulf Cluster

Made from 64(!) IBM-Compatible PCs and a Syringe of Wolfsbane for 100AP.

An amazing feat of pointless engineering. A 64-node compute-cluster, composed entirely of obsolete technology. Just because it's 64-times more-powerful than a crummy old PC, doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the Earth City dump by now!

EDO SIMM Module
FPM SIMM Module
Floppy Disk Drive
IBM-Compatible PC

Made from an ISA I/O adapter, a 486 CPU, a 486 Motherboard, an ISA Graphics adapter, a 120MB Hard Disk Drive, a FPM SIMM module, a PC Tower Case, a Floppy Disk Drive and a Quad-speed CD-ROM Drive. This takes 20AP, because the AT form factor is a bastard.

Alternately, made from a Pentium Motherboard, a 120MB Hard Disk Drive, 2 EDO SIMM modules, a Pentium CPU, a PC Tower Case, a Floppy Disk Drive, a PCI Graphics adapter and a Quad-speed CD-ROM Drive. This takes 10AP.

Flux Capacitor

Sorts under junk, gives option to "Engage" for 0 AP. Engaging uses up the flux capacitor with no immediately obvious effect.

Moon Rock

Mined from Lunar Mountains (with high frequency). Sorts under Resource. Greycat 22:39, 24 March 2009 (GMT)

Is there any chance at all that if one gathers a ridiculous amount of these, they could be combined to make a sixteenth of the moon? no, huh? And not with the cheese either I suppose? AmishRobots 07:57, 19 May 2010 (BST)

Moon Stone

Mined from Lunar Mountains (with low frequency). Sorts under Resource. No sign that it's breakable (yet?). -Greycat 13:21, 26 March 2009 (GMT)

Pimp Cane

Sorts under Weapons (Dam: 3). Provides 10 pts of hoe-thrashing pimpness --Tiltowait 14:32, 15 December 2008 (GMT)

Pocus

Made, along with a Hocus, from 12 Mana. Can combine with a Hocus to make 12 Mana.

costs 50ap to make a Hocus and Pocus. Combined together (for -30ap) gives you back 12 mana. AP sink?
Probably just a method to trade mana.
Either it's bugged, or it's not an AP sink. You don't get 30ap if you use it.
Using one cost me 1AP, which actually makes it even more of an AP sink than if it gave you back 30AP. --Naimoigiant 03:50, 3 March 2010 (GMT)

Can be made by non-wizards, the Pocus is also tradeable (Hocus appears to be sticky) -Jon 20:48, 8 September 2008 (BST)

Also drops from large monsters occasionally. PotatoEngineer 23:53, 3 February 2009 (GMT)

I bet it can help one to ... Focus! brandy 7:21am, 21 Feb 2009 (BST)

Rusty Can of Wyrms

Gained by a Crushed Can of Wyrms "wearing out" while walking around (on entry to a Swamp square, if that's worth anything). Creates a Muatated PolyChromatic Dragon when opened. The drops are... very much worth it. Ravensdance 21:26, 25 September 2008 (BST)

Wah! the drops aren't in big brother. Sounds cool though - were you holding the wyrms? --naath 22:44, 25 September 2008 (BST)
I think BB may be affected by the new interface, unless it's started ignoring my data again. No, I wasn't holding the wyrms. Ravensdance 04:49, 26 September 2008 (BST)
YES! Got one by walking out of a swamp (3AP, swamp to standing stone, movement arrow covered swamp terrain, magic boots, walking stick, no mount). I am going to revert to the old interface before opening it, so that big brother can get a data point. -Greycat 13:51, 26 September 2008 (BST)
Done, and recorded on Big Brother. For purposes of edification:

It goes NEEEEEEEEEE-NAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

-Greycat 13:06, 30 October 2008 (GMT)

Strange Metal

Found by spending 8AP searching the wreckage of the Crashed Craft. Sorts under Resource. Presumably this stuff will be of value to Smiths and Armourers. It also functions as a weapon of sorts: 2 damage, -10% to hit. --Scary Mike 08:11, 30 August 2008 (EST)

I, a master armourer, now have 64 strange metals, and cannot, as yet, do anything with them. Syagrius 18:37, 30 August 2008 (BST)
Just you wait; you'll soon have orders for Guyver units coming in from all directions. --Prthivi 20:03, 30 August 2008 (BST)
