Okay. I fully admit I am a moron. A total idiot. Walking up the mountain with a friend, I decided "Hey! I'll turn myself into a toad!" to get around all the nasty beasties. Apparently in my infinite wisdom I didn't realize that my mittens, scarf and nice warm jumper would be unequipped. Go Ade! So, I try to make it to the top of the mountain. Yeah. Bad idea. I now have severe frostbite. 3 to 4 moves will kill me. Problem is, if I die, so will my fish. He needs to be fed and insurance will totally kick my ass. I cannot break a talisman because I am a toad, and I cannot summon a doctor for the same reasons. Nor cast healing spells, or apply clean bandages. My friend abandoned the quest, and even if he started a rescue operation right now, it'd take days to get to me. By that time my poor fish would be dead.

Can someone on the top of the mountain please, please venture down and offer some medical services? Once I'm in the city I will compensate you some way for your trouble. Gold, items, whatever. Hmn... Wouldn't you need the ability to forage so you can get the blue flowers? I don't know if you need to complete the Hermit quest, but it sounds like you'd be required to have the forage button present, at the very least. -- Corellis 16:37, 30 March 2007 (+0800 GMT)

There are none on the market right now, but I presume that it's possible to trade/sell the flowers. If so, it wouldn't technically be a requirement, although you'd still have to start Herman the Hermit if you want to get the flowers yourself.

...On the other hand, it'd probably be a good idea for the page to say that you have to forage for the flowers, and mention the Herman the Hermit quest. I wouldn't want anyone to briefly glance over the page, and only find out that they needed to have done Herman the Hermit after going through all that Thick Jungle... You don't need to complete Herman to learn to forage. Stopping by his place will allow you to make a Golden Sickle though. Syagrius 18:20, 30 March 2007 (BST)

Syagrius is right in that you don't have to *complete* Herman, but I wasn't able to forage in the Cut Jungle at the base of the Oz mountain trail until after I visited Herman and learned how. parking_god 18:14, 27 June 2008 (BST)
