Requests from Earth

I'd be happy to obtain the required Roc Rocks and Croc Scales. Unfortunately, I am presently engaged in completing the Jack And The Beanstalk quest (currently burning all my AP and magic beans to get a stalk). In the meantime, if anybody finds themselves in Brighthelm, I need a large supply of Repeating Bows. I'll happily pay back whoever can get them for me :)

Alliance Talk

Since we are now a rag tag group of fun loving alliance members, perhaps we should discuss our next action. Communication could be made right here to start with. So, suggestions. Should we start a band? Who needs help with what? What pub should we get drunk in and sing folktunes with wierd hat on, given the oportunity?

Suggestions for a band name

  • JesterDay - not a bad name for a folkmusic band
  • Smashing PiƱatas - I felt this name was so good I had to add it to the band name list, see link below
  • Sextant Pistols - more of a punk rock band name, but playing punk music with an accordion, a tambourine, a fiddle and a harmonica? Either awful or excellent
  • Jester Valley PTA
  • Black Beast of Aaaargh - Obviously a death metal band. Then again, death metal played on accordion, tambourine, fiddle and harmonica? It may very well become the next mega-trend
  • Castle Anthrax Jesters

Suggestions for plan of action

  • 1. Trade and read the books. DONE
  • 2. Make sandwiches DONE, collect resources for Hard Knocks levels 1-10, and make healing potions. DONE Note: this is about 10 days effort.
  • 3. Herman the Hermit. One member as herb vault, then switch. DONE
  • 4. Killing the undead dragon.
  • 5. JesterDay Band Tour 2006. Tour Name?

Remember, we don't have to be dead serious, the game is about having fun. If you want to do something else for a week or so, no problem.

I don't think it's worthwhile to make 24 sandwiches for just +9 maxAP each. As BlaisedeC said (on IRC), i've never hit max AP -- not since I got up to 150 max. I think it's more worthwhile to do the Fortune Tellers quest -- +8 max AP per apple pip. Stevie-O 05:30, 1 April 2006 (BST)
In fact, I think I have a much better use for our AP. For the cost of 10 tarot cards and a pile of AP each, we could do the Caverns -- each altar is +3% to-hit, for a total of +30% to-hit. Higher to-hit => less AP and HP lost to monsters! Stevie-O 20:24, 2 April 2006 (BST)

For suggestions, like Let's make 20 Glass Swords each!
  • I suggest a band tour, once we play fairly well, visiting every pub on the Rock Soc Pub Crawl list. Being severely drunk during the entire time is optional, but encouraged.

I don't think this idea is all that crazy, actually :) Doing this would mean that we could finish the Pub Crawl quest, which apparently increases your alcohol tolerance. This means that you get less drunk from alcohol, which should improve the usefulness of Exotic Cocktails + Coffee as a healing agent. Stevie-O 03:15, 12 May 2006 (BST)
