A terrain condition (like a Tauntaun Corpse) rather than a terrain type per se. Disguises the nature of the underlying terrain such that you cannot use any special attributes of it.

Movement costs into/out of a square obscured by smoke are unaffected, and movement arrows leading into smoke give a clue as to what type of terrain it actually is (e.g., cave, mountain/crag, green).

Squares obscured by smoke give you the option to Wave Arms (1AP) which disperses the smoke and reveals the underlying terrain.

Diagonal squares affected by smoke appear as (dark).

Currently, there is an area of the interior affected by smoke - several squares in the vicinity of 33E 33N. parking_god 17:09, 14 August 2008 (BST)
