Cooperation discussion

Sandwich party (14 March 2006) planning and discussion moved to User:Celane/Sarnies.

Doc Mackie

Howdy! Hadn't seen you 'til now, thought I'd say hi, welcome aboard and all that. Obviously the Knightly Order isn't very fraternal... for one thing, no secret handshakes. Maybe we should have an annual ritual in the main office of the keep. :) macksting 08:21, 29 April 2006 (BST)

<snip> Cleaning out old trading ideas, newspaper clippings, hermit talk, and gifts loaned and given, but keeping this valuable link:

clickety -- Sertularian 00:50, 5 May 2006 (BST)

<more cleaning: books, coffee, a creepy Ninja fraud (wearing sweatpants, a torn AC/DC T-shirt, and a worn baby-blue terry-cloth sweatband holding his comb-over in place), and my seemingly suicidal attraction to large suggestive monsters.>

You're now on Bombadiers' Island. Sorry for the delay; real life intervened. Damned tribbles got into the T1 lines again. I am very glad it's now the weekend.
So, I'm thinking I may do Harvey's Farm soon. If I were unlucky enough to get a baby bear, would you be interested in growing and trading me the necessary plums? I have a few shiny objects here and there... :) -- Sertularian 00:45, 10 June 2006 (BST)

Heh - I don't know what you mean!  ;) "LukeSkywalker" is too long of a name for a Cities character. He does know a lot about Tauntaun corpses, though. Taught me all I know about them. -- Sertularian 13:45, 18 June 2006 (BST)

I was (almost) MontyPython for a moment this morning, too... :P -- Sertularian 20:51, 27 June 2006 (BST)

Hey now, being hit with a snowball = feeling the love! Don't feel bad, be proud of how many people have snowballed you! I know I am.  :D There's even a league table for it. Just be sure you get them all back. (Looks for a handy object to duck behind) -- Sertularian 03:29, 12 July 2006 (BST)

No baby animal for me yet. The 8 hour thing is a problem; looks like I'm going to have to find a way to play once a day from work for three days (I'm there much more than 8 hours most days). Maybe 6AM, 2PM, 10PM? I'll keep you posted... -- Sertularian 14:13, 15 July 2006 (BST)

Thanks for the Barbelith link.  :) What did you do to your browser settings to get rid of the page truncation problem? Seems like I recall you fixed it. I'm getting it now, especially on longish pages. And I have a cable connection.  :( -- Sertularian 23:57, 18 July 2006 (BST)

OK, thanks! I'll give that a try if it keeps up. I seemed to start happening to me just recently, perhaps around the time of the great server change? Odd. -- Sertularian 00:06, 19 July 2006 (BST)

In most lecherous possible voice: "Come on over to my place, baby; I'll show ya!"  :) Just kidding...
Syagrius and Domentzia, two Cities friends of mine, just got married IRL. They announced it and had a little wedding party at the Park Bench. There was much speculation, for some reason, that I was coming and bringing the drinks. So I did, and started handing out *Exotic* Cocktails to everyone present - including 'king Elseware and Lady Caroline, who were in attendance. Whereupon 'king Elseware gave me a whoooooole bunch of Erotic Cocktails to hand out instead. Fun! They are just like Exotic Cocktails, but with even more of a kick: +20HP and -40% to-hit. -- Sertularian 18:24, 1 August 2006 (BST)

Hehe - want some? Let's hook up, I have *plenty*. Also, Ant and Vashka will be getting married soon IRL; that'll be a huge Cities bash, I'm sure. Seems that Cities weddings are fun! -- Sertularian 12:23, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Doc Syagrius

Thanks a bunch! Syagrius 18:47, 20 April 2006 (BST)

I'd hold off on burning a Measure until we know where the guy died. He hasn't contacted anyone yet, and Billz8 is in the southern area already. Syagrius 20:02, 20 April 2006 (BST)

Something about clothes and Caverns...

Anyhow, think you could give me a hint on this Balrog thing? I mean, I like LotR, but I'm not like, one to remember details.

Heh heh, nevermind.--Hamelin 14:47, 19 July 2006 (BST)

Time and Space

Wow, have you been reading my Todo-list? That was fast :-) To be honest, it is only for personal use, to keep track of my Cities-adventures. But I can't turn down an offer like that. I am a little low on AP now, but as soon as I can crack a Fire Talisman, I am on my way. Thank you very much, Conzy 09:06, 11 April 2006 (BST)

Ok, great :-) But you will have to give some time, my AP will be regenerated in just a little more than an hour --Conzy 09:21, 11 April 2006 (BST)

I know that we have discussed trading martial arts books. Well, I picked up Flaming Fists and Wet Slaps for a song, and would be willing to lend them to you at the park bench sometime this weekend, preferrably Sunday. If you had any other of the martial arts books that would be keen, but either way, drop me a line, here, at my discussion page, or palatir if you can/want to meet, and we can work something out. Or, if you know anyone else. I am going to talk to Ograh's, and see if we can get some others to come. --X-Himy 04/12/06 1135 EST

Hey, can I get in on this? I've read the Stone and Fire books, I could really use the other three ('specially Wet Slap). I'm at the park bench now (LimeHan). I won't be around much all day, things to do and all, but if you could lend them to me sometime today (Don't worry, I won't be moving) then I'll read em up quick and give em back sometime tonight.--Hamelin 15:44, 15 April 2006 (BST)

Let me know when you are done with the Gauntlet and want to organize a Hard Knocks Trading Party. I am working my way through some Rocs now. I want to see if I can get South before the Gauntlet, just to make it that much easier. Plus, that cod eludes me. I am tempted to petition KOT for help. -- X-Himy 18:56, 19 April 2006 (BST)

I could do a Hard Knocks trade whenever you are ready. If you want to do it south of the Desert, that would be even better. -- X-Himy 18:33, 19 May 2006 (BST)

Jam, Jam, Jam!

Hey, I noticed you need grapes and grape jam and plum jam for the treasure hunt. What say I trade you two bunches of grapes and a basket of plums (so you can make your own jams) for two sheaves of wheat? If you don't have beans I can give you some. -- Celane 05:00, 26 April 2006 (BST)

Great! Where would you like to meet? I am waiting for the Shrine of Light ritual, but I have to warn you that I am low on AP for the moment. I got magic beans galore, so don't worry. Do you need them to be grounded as flour? Anything else I can help you with? I could also use Cucumbers, a Sunflower, ... -- Conzy 10:56, 26 April 2006 (BST)
Let's meet Friday or after the weekend then, I have some RLO (Real Life 0bligations) :-) -- Conzy 14:23, 26 April 2006 (BST)
Ok, see you later than :-) (and yes, I love RLO's, good moment to gain some Measure of Serenity's ;-)) -- Conzy 09:43, 27 April 2006 (BST)
I had a fun RLO-trip this weekend and I hope of you the same. At the moment, I am at the Park Bench, but don't worry: still loads of books to read and piles of wood to sharpen :-) Greetings, Conzy 11:05, 2 May 2006 (BST)
Wow, so you found the ruby slippers? You are going fast :-)
While I was planting beans for the Sheafs of Wheat (got them right with me), I got a beanstalk. Unfortunately, I am not prepared at all to face that giant. I got some diamonds by killing a Loucee, though.
I'll just stroll around a little then and prepare my Standing Stones a little. See you later --Conzy 09:12, 3 May 2006 (BST)

Park Bench

Ok, I just gave you the Sheaves of Wheat, hope they are of good use for you ;-) Greetings, Conzy 08:48, 8 May 2006 (BST)

Thanks a lot, that is a bunch of stuff :-) Especially the books and the Earth Knife, really appreciate it. Let me know if I can be of any more help. Something in my list of spare items that tickles your interest? Greetings, Conzy 08:32, 9 May 2006 (BST)
Ok great. No seaweed for the moment, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the bag, but I am *really* low on AP for the moment, so it could take a while. I hope the others are patient. The beanstalk -- haha, same thing happened to me when I was planting beans to get your Sheaves of Wheat :-) Conzy 10:05, 9 May 2006 (BST)

You slicing dicing machine

Wow, you are fast :-) Yeah, we could use some help, but it really isn't urgent. BlueFlame (Fire) already joined me, so we are just looking for an Air and Water character. And of course I would welcome your D20, although I think I will find another one while travelling.

At the moment I am somewhere in the Central Part, around , but it is really not urgent. I'll keep your offer in mind and contact you then when it suits both of us. Thanks for checking my user page!

Is there something I can help you with? I see that you can use some tarot cards for the Bomb Squad quest. I have The Star twice, if you want it --Conzy 19:12, 24 May 2006 (BST)

No problem, I can be your spinning dinning machine :-) I have not finished the Standing Stones Quest yet (hardly begun :-S), so I am afraid that you will have to come to me. I have 60 Wads of Raw Wool and 3 Distaffs. That should be enough for spinning, no? Greetings, --Conzy 12:01, 25 May 2006 (BST)
No problem at all, RLOs are important and I am not in a hurry. I will be around here for many more days :-) Greetings and have fun, Conzy 08:53, 27 May 2006 (BST)

So, how were the RLOs :-) ? I hope it was great. At the moment I am at , just east of a trading post. But I don't have any cucumbers yet for you to slice and I already gained back a D20, so don't worry about that. I have 20 Short Wools, 20 Wools and 20 Wads of Raw Wool. How many of which do you need? Conzy 21:33, 1 June 2006 (BST)

Ok, I arrived. You happen to have a Can of Lager? There is a Vindaloo monster just east of the Dragon Spire :-) Conzy 11:10, 2 June 2006 (BST)
Thank you so much for the weapon galore :-) You are making a very dangerous Earl of me. The spade is great too, after being converted to Dukeness, I'll go treasure hunting!
Have a nice weekend, I have three days of holiday now, so time enough for a good Monastery and some RLOs! Conzy 18:56, 2 June 2006 (BST)

Hmm, you seem to be doing some mining recently. If you're planning to continue, perhaps we could work out a mutually beneficial arrangement. Interested? Let me know--wikimail, palantir, or talk page (in order of preference). I'll next be online ~8 hours from now. --Dragon 08:19, 7 July 2006 (BST)

Ouch! That's a lot of fish you need. I can get you the grapes and plums if you still need them, and likely provide a flying fish too, if/when I have enough bits of string to finish my fishing net. -- Celane 17:48, 10 July 2006 (BST) (taken from my horoscope)

Hello Celane, how is it going? I am sorry to have read your reaction this late :-S Thank you very much, but don't worry. The guys from the cucumber sandwiches helped to provide me with the necessary things to complete the Standing Stones quest. The only thing I miss is a Cod. But I am taking it slow lately, so there is enough time before I finish the Quest.
If I can help you with something, just let me know. How is the Pub Crawl going? I guess I still have some booze :-) Greetings, Conzy 10:25, 20 July 2006 (BST)
No problem at all, I have enough things to do, so don't worry. If I don't find a Cod elsewhere, I guess I'll run in to you later :-) Happy traveling up North, if I have to send you a warm scarf by postmail, just let me know ;-) Greetings, Conzy 10:00, 21 July 2006 (BST)

Hey, long time no see! Just dropping (virtually) by to keep in touch :-) At the moment I have completed some Hard Knock levels (Me now is tough! Ounga, ounga! Me make fire and wear pants from now on!) and I am feeding the Master Thief with my finest cookery. Greetings, Conzy 09:53, 29 September 2006 (BST)
