having read some of your page Admiral, i demand membership into your spacefleet, as a high-ranking officer, My qualifications are excellent, for instance, at one point in time, i actually forgot how old i was; for several months (i think) I was unable to provide anyone who asked with my own age this was some where between 24? and 28? come to think of it, right now i'm not sure if i am 33 or 34? f@#$K! i routinely forget pplz names, faces, and.. whatever else it is you should remember about them. in game i have died several times as a direct result of well, spaciness. i even got killed by a piece of wood once. I know i can be of great (dis)service to your space corps. Please let me know, and then kindly remind me what the heck I was talking about. AmishRobots 09:47, 23 August 2008 (BST)

Hiya Macksting! I've been back after a long hiatus in cities. Thanks for the horse-sitting. I'm not looking to get her back of course. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your help. :) 18:35, 28 June 2008 (EST)

are you still looking for someone to take your mare off your hands indefinantly? My alt Zoological has a pwny... so you know i can take care of it. I'm willing to buy her off you (if need be), i have a large supply of custom made weapons if you are interested. Zoological 05:04, 3 November 2007 (GMT)
- ... Armourer Erinne hasn't completed harveys farm (not for lack of trying... i do believe the last time was because of an accidental long retreat). However, is earth aligned at the moment. and INCREDIBLY bored as an armourer... Zoological 07:03, 4 November 2007 (GMT)

HBookbinder
Hello, no worries on the late response. I was new to wikis, and hadn't cottoned on to the notion of replying on other people talk pages, it's no wonder you missed it. I'm not a regular SCAer, although I've been known to attend the occasional SCA function in the past. I did a quick google for an SCA event in Salem and didn't see much, is it the pirate themed gathering I saw somewhere? Hope the weather is as fine in Eugene as it has been in Corvallis Hbookbinder 19:57, 24 May 2007 (BST)
- Well I don't think I'll attend the pirate gathering. I tend to stick to the larger events, I also lack thepuffy shirt needed to fit in ("But I don't want tobe a pirate.") I'd buy the first two rounds of drinks at the Oregon Cities Meetup though. Hbookbinder 03:05, 25 May 2007 (BST)

Sorry 'bout that. I'm currently in R'lyeh but will hopefully return soon. Seaweed fronds I have, its the plums etc that I have issues with... Phw 20:28, 22 April 2007 (BST)
- I already have two clinic invites. Plums or Cash (for plums) I think is the best bet. I'm not sure what the going rate is - lets say the same as a clinic invite? Phw 00:10, 24 April 2007 (BST)
- Sorry - disappeared for a few days. I'll be back tomorrow in the game (just logged in to feed my Pwny...) Phw 00:00, 28 April 2007 (BST)
- OK - I'm back. Just had a look at citiesberg - plums are going for 8k... Deal is fine but lets call it 10 baskets (@ 10k each - split the difference) or cash for same... Phw 06:54, 30 April 2007 (BST)

Outfitter Errors
Hm. I'm trying to think of what could cause that error. There's some special behavior with leech-farming that I never tested when the user runs out of leeches, and there's also some special behavior for the time-based outfit wearing. I'm guessing it's the werewolf outfit-wearing that's the error, but I can't test it from here, which brings me to the "you're not on IRC anymore" issue: I'm in San Diego (where the computer here lacks Firefox), and I just got married. +) PotatoEngineer 06:12, 4 February 2008 (GMT)
Addendum: it'll help if you can get me the debug messages. They'll be in the Error Console (in the Tools menu), with blue (i) symbols, labeled as Cities Outfitter. To turn on debug messages, you need to open the Outfitter config, and click the debug checkbox. You should be able to do it pretty easily if you stop the page once it's done loading. PotatoEngineer 07:33, 4 February 2008 (GMT)
Addendum addendum: for a temporary fix, uninstall Outfitter, along with the associated preferences, and reinstall it. PotatoEngineer 01:38, 6 February 2008 (GMT)
- Hm. Just a last thought: if it's really the werewolfism that's the bug, try going into about:config and manually altering the 'http://potatoengineer.110mb.com/Cities Outfitter/CO_werewolf' setting to false. This is, most likely, going to be HIGHLY ANNOYING to do, considering the ridiculous number of settings that Outfitter has (or rather, had, but any old version will still have all of them). Otherwise, go nuke-and-pave that script. I won't be able to look at it seriously until the 8th if you're really lucky, or the 12th or so if you're less lucky. Button Masher
I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that people can't spam speaking. The bad news is that you can't "it" a Knight Of Ni to death. Masher clicks buttons---and only that. It doesn't remember what was entered into any textboxes. It still works with shopping, though, because the game remembers which option was selected when you clicked the button.
And yeah, I'm sure that Button Masher will kill a few people. I've decided that the needs of the many outweigh the foolishness of a few. +)
(side note: it would be nice to be able to "it" a Giant Mutant Knight Of Ni to death, but this would quickly become spam for any other purpose, so I have no plans to implement speaking-repetition. If you want to it a Knight, you can type it twice---or 10 times, if that's what it takes.) PotatoEngineer 08:36, 30 June 2007 (BST)
Air Swords (old)
I noted your recent comment about never finding Air Swords. I have four to trade, and I'm interested in a wide variety of items, but notably I see that you have several spare Dragon Stones. Would you be interested in a trade for one, and perhaps a few other widgets on my list? PotatoEngineer 08:35, 19 February 2007 (GMT)
- Whee! You have swords now! I'd like a dragon stone, and a steaming bowl of irish stew. (If the stew isn't available, I'll take a pony, medium rare.)PotatoEngineer 00:36, 22 February 2007 (GMT)
More Widgets
Hey, I finished that "calculate time to max AP" webpage much faster than I planned on it. Here ya go. PotatoEngineer 19:11, 4 May 2007 (BST)
More Swords
My stall has recently come into the possession of 10 Air Swords, if you're interested. If you'd prefer to barter, I'm quite willing to yank them out of the stall and trade them, too. I'm still poking along in my Inexplicable Quest, and I also have a need for sticks of butter, if you have any spares. PotatoEngineer 22:06, 22 May 2007 (BST)
- From your list, here's what I'm interested in:
- 6 Mint
- 1 Aniseed
- 1 Sloe
- your Acle
- Flying Bacon Sandwich
- Slice of Flying Bacon
- Digeridoo
- Copy of Believe
- Copy of Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend
- 10 Cannon Balls
- Sadly, I'm a bit short on fire-based weaponry for trading to Sheyona. There's all of one Fire Sword in my stall, but I'll ask and see if I can bribe her somehow. +)
- As for the trade, I'll give you 11 Air Swords (found an extra one in the shop!) for the lot I listed above. Most of those are either not on the market at all, or at "nobody's gonna buy that" prices, so I hope this is a reasonably fair trade. PotatoEngineer 18:54, 23 May 2007 (BST)
- Update: I managed to get my hands on all the CDs I need. Any chance I could swap those out for 25 cannon balls, for a total of 35? I'll be going chainsaw-creating in the reasonably near future. And a side note about timing: no worries about the delay. My fiance's coming up tonight, and she'll be here until the end of Tuesday, so a) I'm in no rush, and b) I might not be available until Wednesday sometime. We'll work something out. PotatoEngineer 22:12, 24 May 2007 (BST)
- Sounds good to me. I'll be at the trading post on Wednesday. It's the one 2 south of the party, right? (Though I can't remember when the party is going to end---maybe 2 south of where the party "was" as of Wednesday.) PotatoEngineer 04:51, 29 May 2007 (BST)
- As it happens, I managed to get back to the computer as of 0-dark-30 on early, early Wednesday "morning." You should be well-supplied with stabby things now, and I'll be at the trading post at least until Wednesday night. PotatoEngineer 09:31, 30 May 2007 (BST)

Armor & Such
You have some fairly specialized needs. Not everyone needs (or wants!) to use the glowing armors, because they break disgustingly frequently. It sounds like you could just set up three different outfits for your three different cases. PotatoEngineer 22:58, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
Time to Max AP Tweak
There's some plus and some minus to what you're asking for; if you just enter your username, I can't tell if you're at a party (or on bleak island, for that matter). Otherwise, it should work, and it'll be a decent learning experience for me parsing info.xml or cgi-bin/info. Alternately, I could make a Greasemonkey script that'll parse the page, look up your info page (for your AP regen time), and then shunt you over to Time To Max AP. I'm not quite sure which approach would be easier/work better. PotatoEngineer 06:58, 1 July 2008 (BST)
Humidors & Wedding Rings
Well, I am married---as of February 2nd, to the lovely Erin. The tricky bit is that I'm not married to anyone who's playing the game, so it's a lot less visible. PotatoEngineer 04:48, 9 August 2008 (BST)

Hello again, trusty stranger. Would you care for another trade (a rather urgent one)? If so, then: You have all that I need. (Ginseng Root, Nutmeg, Pinch of Aniseed, Chilli Pepper) one of each. And I have the following to give. 2xMandrake Root + 3xPiece of Chinchona Bark + 2xCocoa Pod + 1xVanilla Pod. I would prefer to summon you to a Trading Post near the Hermit. Anything else that is quick works too, ofcourse. --Bubba_the_Shy 18:12, 11 December 2006 (GMT)

Hey there. I'm done with the gauntlet and available with my awesome bread-making prowess. I can also provide garlic as needed. Currently, I really don't think there's much I particularly need (already duke-i-fied myself), but I'm just happy to help out. Summon me or meet me on the road west of water city by the KOT road. I'll probably need to find a ruin or wizards tower to get some beans though. I'm out. Morannon 14:47, 23 February 2006 (GMT)
Recent Kill in the Forest
I'm keeping track of this, so that I know what I owe the guy if he really wants it. Creature folded too quickly not to have been struck prior.
- You attack the Gygax.
- You roll your die, and get a 19.
- You cause 4 points of damage, and receive 44 experience.
- You slay the Gygax.
- You gain a Mug of Coffee.
- You gain a Fountain Pen.
- You gain a D12.
- You gain a Night Stick.

Combat
Thanks for your contribution of the Combat page, Doc. Very clear, well-written, and entertaining. I learned from it, and I suspect those that are even more newby (is "newby" the adjective form of "newbie"? perhaps "newbyish"?) than I will find it extraordinarily helpful. Definitely recommended reading. Four tildes to you! Sertularian 15:52, 18 Jan 2006 (GMT)

- Bolshevik, darling, I'm just paranoid. Frankly, that paranoia gives me a certain edge in turn-based games; I'm less apt to take risks, yet more able to take them later. Like killing Giants.
If there's anything you can possibly add to that far too long document, Sert, I'd love to see it. Doc Mackie

The Epic Battle with the Giant
Thanks for softening up the giant - I converted him to earth and whacked him with two glass swords (my only two - a matched set *wistful sigh*). I didn't have quite enough cash to finish him off with a blast from a golden gun, though, and I wasn't taking ANY chances. Click here if you want to see the instant replay of the battle. -- Who's your buddy? 04:57, 1 Feb 2006 (GMT)

- Hey Macksting, can I bribe you with something to sharpen a dull golden sickle for me? It should cost 50ap for you to do it, but another 150AP for me. I just spent 150 AP making the thing, so I can't pass it off until sometime tomorrow. Anything you need? Syagrius 17:47, 16 March 2006 (GMT)

Your Palantirs
Hey Mackie, did you know your palantirs come in mirrored? And how are you in my debt? From what I can tell, you're looking to make yourself some accuracy potions. Syagrius 22:47, 25 April 2006 (BST)
- Ok, but I have absolutely no use for the seaweed fronds ;) I got them when I was buying cod from Jons Kraken Shack (meal set 2) for healing potions and these stonehenge things. :) Syagrius 02:54, 26 April 2006 (BST)
- And you're right, the gooey palantir is fun - so far, all the messages you've sent me have been garbled.
- Yeah, the fire-ness helps a lot. My base to-hit is 100%. I'm gonna head down to Bombadier Island and do that quest (which should put me somewhere in the 130% range). Plus, I want to be able to use this ball mill I've been carrying around for 4 months. Won't let me until I've trained with the bomb squad. Syagrius 03:00, 26 April 2006 (BST)
- Sure - I can summon you there - I'll palantir ya or post here first though, since it'll likely be a few days before I get back down that way. (BTW, yahoo messanger is on if ya don't want to spammy up the pages ;) Syagrius 03:07, 26 April 2006 (BST)
Der Plummen
Probably have the wrong tense or verb type with the German there, but anyway... I actaully have everything I need for the standing stones - I want the plums for brandy-making. see here for details ;) Syagrius 13:57, 25 April 2006 (BST)
- Definately up for a trade - I'm trying to get to Standing Stone I (not sure if there's a trading post there or not...) What would you like for your plums? Syagrius 22:06, 25 April 2006 (BST)
- Ok, at standing stone 1 - there's a trading post adjacent (north) to me. Want me to summon, or are you in the area? Syagrius 22:22, 25 April 2006 (BST)
Bread?
Mack - I have several loaves of bread if you still want one/some. Interested in plums, if you have any. :) Syagrius 20:10, 14 April 2006 (BST)
- You can summon me (or, if you want a free trip - I can summon you), I'm in Brighthelm. Would prefer plums (or crushed plums) since I'm trying to make brandy :) Syagrius 03:34, 15 April 2006 (BST)
Armour
- Well, the KOT armour bag hasn't changed - meaning I haven't actually spent any action points making anything yet. I do believe you mentioned you were looking for a bronze scale cuirass (unless I'm mixing people up again). I've been spending my energies getting a rig put together. - Well that rightly sucks, as I don't have it either. Guess I'll have to make another one. Syagrius 20:10, 4 February 2007 (GMT)
- Another bronze scale armour has been made for you. I think I'll start by making helmets for everyone, as that just takes bronze and ap :) Syagrius 15:43, 6 February 2007 (GMT)
- Summoned to the party :)

- The list is what is complete and on hand. So your armour is complete, we just need to meet up so I can deliver it. Perhaps when the next party starts in the festival, we can head over to the trading post there? Syagrius 17:38, 11 February 2007 (GMT)
Leather Armour
Your requested leather armour is complete. Summon me to a suitable trading area and offer me whatever you see fit. :) Syagrius 02:58, 13 January 2008 (GMT)
Bascinet
- Greetings again. I've got one I'll hand to you. Let me know where to meet ya :) Syagrius 15:09, 21 May 2007 (BST)
Sallet and Chausses
I have the time. Items are ready - where can I meet you? Syagrius 02:05, 6 April 2008 (BST)
Codpieces
- Whoop! Sorry - didn't notice the first message :) I've got 3 on hand right now, but I'm out of cod for making more. Still hiding with your wife on Holiday Island (don't be jealous).
- Either way really doesn't matter to me - How many codpieces were you looking for? Syagrius 15:19, 23 April 2008 (BST)
- Best bet would be to hand me a cod to make the 4 codpieces for ya then. My online time is very irregular at the moment (hence sitting at Holiday Island). Are you still antisocial? If not, a summon to wherever works for you would work for me, or we could meet in Brighthelm at whatever trading post is sitting there. Syagrius 07:17, 24 April 2008 (BST)

Custom Uber-Weapons
- Mainly time. They take a bit of metal (somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500) and about 3-4 weeks real time. And about 3000 AP. :) Syagrius 15:09, 5 March 2007 (GMT)
- Sorry, thought I'd replied to this already - damage, to-hit bonus or penalty (which seems to be a MASSIVE determining factor) and number of potential uses (100 being the max). A fully loaded custom weapon will damage like a lance, without the loss-rate. Syagrius 04:01, 10 March 2007 (GMT)
- Ok, 20 base damage, +50 to-hit, and a 1% break rate (per use). That's the biggest and best. Syagrius 15:11, 21 May 2007 (BST)

Books
- Assuming you have the necessary materials (paper, specifically), then whatever you'd like to offer. If you know where I can get ahold of a Pwny or a pwny egg, that would be awesome (totally unrelated to the books, by the way). Syagrius 06:07, 29 May 2007 (BST)
- Don't worry about having an apprentice activate a book. Level 1 spells can be placed into a level 2 book. Syagrius 18:51, 29 May 2007 (BST)
- Gotcha. Makes a little more sense now :) Syagrius 18:43, 30 May 2007 (BST)
Return of...
- Everything is complete. Where did you want to meet? (I'm still hiding on Holiday Island) Syagrius 15:24, 7 May 2008 (BST)
- Hmm... I think there's a trading post in Brighthelm. Is there one in the hard knocks area? I'd hate to summon you away from monster island. Syagrius 05:51, 8 May 2008 (BST)
- Items in your possession at the Pentacle. Syagrius 15:11, 8 May 2008 (BST)
- Unknown, really. I'm not playing much at the moment so I can focus on schoolwork. If there's something that needs done, I do it. I need to mosey up to the lost world again to putz around, but at the moment I'm hoarding AP and raw materials. Syagrius 04:20, 9 May 2008 (BST)

jmb
Heh :) thanks for that info - I think I'll probably go for the SV first. I have most of the required components now, I think I just need three more bits of Bronze for a bulk smelt, and the Plans...
- Well, now the two of you (you and JohnnyRogers) have made me less sure; I'd got the impression that the SV was actually faster, compared with the Caravel having cannon, but if the AP movement cost is as has been suggested on Boats then maybe the Caravel is the one. I've made up a summary of my materials collection status now in User:Jmb/Boat_Building - maybe you can spot some trades.
- Bottle? Not needed thanks, I have a few currently full ones, but that's easy to rectify :) All I really need is Ancient Wood, for which I'd have to come back to the North; at the moment I'm collecting Tar and exploring the South.
- Now have everything bar 16 Ancient Wood for my Caravel, and most of a Survey Vessel as well.
- Thinkin' of making both?
- Yup. I now have all the SV parts - still lacking the Ancient Wood for Caravel. jmb 14:52, 19 February 2006 (GMT)

Distaff
Doc, I have an extra distaff for you. I'm looking for a copper ore or its equivalents in bits or nails, some fleece, and knitting needles. Also lanolin. Have any of those to trade? Billz8 04:16, 16 February 2006 (GMT)
- Got 28 wads of raw wool. Not so much the other stuff. If you were looking for 30 bronze nails, I'd have that to spare. macksting 08:10, 16 February 2006 (GMT)
- I'm hanging out at the TP in Bognor right now, out of AP. I no longer need the copper nails (launched the SS Wet Dream yesterday) and I found knitting needles at market. If you stop by and drop off the raw wool, I can spin it for you (an Earth craft) and then give you back a Distaff and the short wool. Alternatively, if you don't have knitting needles, I can make a pair of gloves out of that wool for you. Billz8 01:10, 18 February 2006 (GMT)
- Sounds useful. I figure I'll at least experiment with the Distaff a bit myself, as I'm sure I'll need more wool shortly. Right now, I'm totally AWOL, sitting in a Monastery so I can fulfill a standing stone requirement. macksting 01:57, 18 February 2006 (GMT)

Jenali
Hiya Doc. If you want to help, um, extra cukes or olives would be appreciated. I'm in the Satanic Gardens looking to come up with some more garlic and both of those things (read: planting stuff and crossing my fingers), so if you're feeling particularly bored, drop on by or let me know where I can find you. (I need to go up to Water City soon anyway...) Jenali 13:06, 13 March 2006 (GMT)
- I only need 5 olives, 4 cucumbers, and a bunch more garlic. Any interest in helping me accumulate such things? Thanks again for the offer.
Conzy
Sorry man, but I don't smoke ;-) Thanks for the Potion of Accuracy ingredient! Conzy 21:31, 26 September 2006 (BST)
- Welcome. Do you still need to borrow the martial arts books? I'd be happy to lend 'em. macksting 21:40, 26 September 2006 (BST)
- Thanks, but I have read your Martial Arts books before, unless you are referring to something else than The Way of the Finger, The art of the Flaming Punch, The art of the Stone Fist, The art of the Wet Slap and The art of the Nasty Blows? Thanks anyway, I greatly appreciate it :-) It was really cool on the Ninjas in the Thieves' Forest, haha.
- Say, you might happen to explain me why, sometimes, my hits do more damage than normally? I haven't found it in the Wiki yet, but maybe I haven't been looking hard enough Conzy 21:48, 26 September 2006 (BST)
No real crocodile hunter (bite me, Dundee)
Darn, I died :-S Really stupid, actually (isn't it always?) Would you mind summoning me to the party, then my AP will regain much quicker. Greetings, Unhappy Conzy 08:58, 8 January 2007 (GMT)
- Thanks :-) Yeah, I'm fully insured. I'll have to activate it again, I guess? Yeah, the party will move to Earth City soon. If it ends, can you drop me a note or summon me? Even at the party it will take 22 hours to regenerate :-S As soon as I wake up, you'll get your summon stone(s) back. Conzy 09:18, 8 January 2007 (GMT)
- PS: CoD == Cash on Delivery? (or maybe Call of Duty)
- There's no point in summoning him to the new party: he can't join without AP. Sorry to crush your hopes Conzy--Solune 11:41, 8 January 2007 (GMT)

A. My userid on IRC, AIM, and YIM is blaisedec -- keeps things simple, don'tcha know. B. I have passed you 5 jars of plum jam and 15 jars of grape jam; I am now out of empty jars, which is a hard skill for me. I have 10 bits of molten glass, so if you want to blow them into jars I can jar 10 more grape jams for you, and then give back 15 crushed bunches of grapes. Or I can just give back 25 crushed bunches of grapes. BlaisedeC 15:30, 5 April 2006 (BST)
- Well, I decided to go do something else for a bit (the gauntlet), and up and died during it. Tomorrow I'll head back to the park bench and give you glass. BlaisedeC 20:34, 7 April 2006 (BST)

Hey, still looking for a Power Crystal? I've got one that I'll trade you if you can sharpen a Dull Silver Catana for me. -- Thog 17:44, 16 April 2006 (BST)
- Actually, I'm not summonable at the moment - currently wearing a hat - but since I've seen one Treeman in a day of searching, let me fight my way out of the Thieve's Forest and find a Trading Post. If you want, I can summon you once I get there... -- Thog 06:28, 17 April 2006 (BST)
- So now I've managed to find my way to the Trading Post at 3E 23N. If you want a summon, say the word... -- Thog 15:33, 17 April 2006 (BST)

I've been exploring the tunnels trying to find one that would get me beneath the impasable mountains and to the lands within. Take everything you took on the Gauntlet plus a light source; either a glowing weapon, an Oil Lantern or a Gas Lantern. Oil is good since Minotaurs drop more when you defeat them. The tunnles are lousy with rats, minotaurs and gygax. I've mapped three entrances so far; 32E 32N, 38E 24N and 31E 37N.
- I don't think the lanterns wear out but I wouldn't swear by it. My map is one I'm making myself as I go as I try to avoid fighting foes I can otherwise avoid even if they promise vaguely useful tools, and as such I don't have the map from the Manic Minotaur. Surface Maps don't work down here. I've put today's map on my user page (sorry it's so big).
- Ten jars of gas should more than suffice and as I said you get more oils from minotaurs. As for arrows... damnit I kmew I forgot something! PlanetNiles 10:28, 14 May 2006 (BST); Having completly forgotten to restock his quiver.
I thought I'd give you a heads up that my Oil Lantern just wore out so there is a life to these things, but a long one... looks like I'm going to have to head to the surface and make a new one. PlanetNiles 10:06, 18 May 2006 (BST)

I would certainly be interested in obtaining your diamonds. I don't have much wheat in bulk, but if you give me a bit, I can make a trip down to Monster Island and acquire some. If you need it immediately, I might not be able to help, but I do have other things for trade. -- X-Himy 18:31, 21 January 2008 (GMT)
- I would probably need the diamonds in a week or so. The problem is that I just realized that I am out of Magic Beans, so I have to go get more. Are you really in search of Gold Ore? It used to be that you could buy bits of gold at the mint and each ore only gave 100 bits of gold, so it was pretty much a tossup as to whether it was worth smelting.
Anyway I have Farnham and Methuselah (but no Job). I'll be happy to lend them to you, but I'll need them back since they are my only copies. Hendsch 17:15, 28 September 2006 (BST)

I have a couple of mining permits right now (2), but no use for them. If you would like them, let me know. Also, I can make as much wood as you would like. I'm working on a fur coat, but mostly for show and trade (I don't have much use for anything since I'm really just a theif killer, and tend to have my more valuable items stolen (they just got my caravel!) I do have 3 summoning stones, if you want to summon me to bognor. I can give you the stone back. But I guess the real thing is... take your time. Mack, are you still looking for non-Air aligned players for crafting and gathering? My characters are currently at Sert's b-day bash enjoying the reduced AP regen rate to do some crafting of their own. No charge since I figure I owe you something for a Tubthumping back when I was but a wee Knight. Also, I'm extremely interested in a Midas wand to eventually take out that nasty Undead Dragon - check out my inventory to see if anything catches your fancy. Snare 19:41, 8 December 2006 (GMT)
So, alanda (as a fellow guild member) can offer transportation via Shimmering Things for free to your Bognor Bash. If you let me know in advance the exact coordinates, I'll be able get a head start on enchanting Blank Talismans. 18:05, 2 July 2008 (BST)
- Regarding my first post above from back in '06: I believe we hashed things out via PAYG. Although, that was quite some time ago and my memory is a bit fuzzy. I'm out of town this weekend and will most likely be without access to Cities but I'll get to work on enchanting talismans next week. I'll probably clean out the Fire Swamp of spelling monsters during your party just for good measure, also. Frozen North travel advice? I've found Winged Boots are more versatile than other snow-related footwear. Ice Warriors are plentiful and drop a scarf more often than not. Also, it's too warm right now to easily get to Oil Platforms so aquatic transportation is a necessity. Snare 21:03, 2 July 2008 (BST)
- So, the party's going to be at 34E 158N? I can start enchanting talismans for the Shimmering Thing this week then and I'll set up the Portal entrance in Water City, most likely. Let me know if your plans change on the exact location. As I said above: no charge for a fellow guild member. 04:20, 7 July 2008 (BST)
- No problem for me delaying the party; the Shimmering Things aren't being put to any other use. I don't/can't log on frequently enough to take advantage of the vault quest right now but I can understand the desire to complete it in one run and not have to start all over from the beginning (i.e. leave halfway through to attend your party). 23:12, 10 July 2008 (BST)
- So, is the Portal in Windy City to the Freezing Man party a special week-long Portal created by the GL's or 'king Elseware? It seems odd someone (other than me) would go to the trouble of enchanting blank talismans up there. 00:27, 23 July 2008 (BST)

I finally got around to opening mysterious envelopes, and wound up with 11 treasure chests (and I still have one more to dig up). I think I actually got 2 copies of a few of them (Vogue, Strong Enough), but only one per chest. I did get a one bling and gold bling though, which made me quite happy. Still, I was hoping (against all odds) that I might find You Spin me Round. Oh well, I guess pirates don't listen to 80s music.

'Ello there!
Did you get my PAYG? Let me know if you want the CD (Have marked it down as yours). Shall be back at the Equal n0rx party at about 7am GMT. Stoo 22:00, 21 March 2007 (GMT)

- i'm at the TP in earth city with you, so hand 'em over whenever you can, preferably with some food at least for the kittin! Seems like a reasonable price to me. I could throw in a copy of the spell, a strike, and/or magic-goods if that would bring the price down further. Or not, if you prefer the cash. :) -Scrumbucket 21:54, 7 January 2008 (GMT)
- I think I'll go with the spell+gold option. (Apparently magic-goods are untradeable.) I have just handed over 1 Frankenweiner spell, 24000 AU, and a dead Sea Horsie (Spot). Did everything arrive safely? -Scrumbucket 07:18, 9 January 2008 (GMT)
- Doh! I just read the Miracle Pill page and realised I didn't have to give you the body. I guess I should take care of the actual resurrection because of the 1% food-level thing. Thanks, and sorry about dumping a horse-corpse on you. -Scrumbucket 07:26, 9 January 2008 (GMT)

Bound Spirits
You mentioned you are a purveyor of bound spirits. I need one. Care to work a trade? Either cash, goods, or whatever you would like. (earth aligned armorer, not yet mastered. Inventory is visible, but... I don't have the link handy)Skold 21:39, 27 June 2007 (BST)
Custom Weapon vs. Spells: Cost and Performance
They're actually fairly cheap. I've got three 100 damage, -60 ccuracy, 100 use weapons in the making right now. I'll probably try selling them for 75-100k each. I actually sold three that were 50 use weapons at 115k a piece just recently, but I had forgotten to change the arms calculator from smith to master armorer. If you want something special made, I'm more than happy to spend the AP on it. Or you can put in a request to the guild. I typically work on 3-6 at a time. If you want more than that, it would be better to go to the guild. I do most of my work with iron, since it lasts longer. That they break is their only downfall, so the iron helps out on that.
Let me know if you want any of the three in progress, and I'll earmark them for you at 75k/ Skold 18:22, 10 January 2008 (GMT)
- I tell you what. Give me 7 more days, and I'll throw you a teaser. A 5 use iron bandyclef. See how it works for you. This one on the house.Skold 18:25, 10 January 2008 (GMT)
- btw, I have this Teaser Bandyclef for you to try out. Forgot to say it was done. How should I give it to you? Post office doesn't seem to know your address yet. skold 31 January 3008
- I'm at the new trading post in AIR city right now, and have a good bandyclef in hand. Sorry bout that.
As for the rest, I never said this would work as well for a magic user. It works for a SGT. DUKE., and I was arguing the point in the wizards lounge about fleeting strength and a elemental ball being a better weapon than Sgt. Dukes have available. The bandyclef, in the hands of a Sgt. Duke, will easily do 1600 damage against a properly aligned creature. This equals the damage of your F.S. + E.B. spells. It doesn't match the 4k from a killing blow/elemental ball, either. But doesn't cost the several AP and sharp sword, either. Just cash, which is cheap. Oh, and Wpfsy got 19 uses out of the teaser he got from the shop today.Skold 00:09, 4 February 2008 (GMT)
Gonzometro
I can satisfy your wheat requirements. 03:51, 1 February 2008 (GMT)
- Citiesberg looks fairly stable @ 3000, so 1500 per sheaf? Gonzometro 05:42, 1 February 2008 (GMT)
- I'll hold onto it for now. Keep in mind wheat->flour is an earth skill, so it's cheap for me. Gonzometro 18:06, 1 February 2008 (GMT)
Douro
I don't have any new talismans or hundreds of AP, how would I get the latter in particular? I found the bookmark on an old computer and thought I'd log in. My AP and indeed health are still a bit broken from way back when but I thought a quest or two might be a diversion...I shall search for a boat, I use to have lots! OotC Daemonic Advancement
Would you be finding the monster yourself, or would we find it then summon you? Azuaron 23:35, 28 February 2008 (GMT)
- Well, since the only monster with over 100,000 hp (if I remember right) is a Pirate, the finder's fee would be pretty hefty (given that traveling over water costs a whole lot, and ocean monsters are notoriously fickle when Taroted). I'd say a 30,000 finder's fee and a 5,000 fee for summoning (market price of a Summon Stone). Finally, 200,000 for actually damaging the pirates so they can be killed with the Daemonic Great Sword. Azuaron 22:15, 1 March 2008 (GMT)
- Hey, did you make a deal with Azuaron to do this before he retired? Either way, did you still want this to be done? I'm trying to close out longstanding contracts (or declare them open) prior to trying to drum up more business/members. -- Belkar 23:49, 2 July 2008 (BST)
agzu
Hi. You left a message in my wiki page about lending Eyepod with astral plane spell (your message is dated some time in April, sorry for such 'fast' reaction from me). I would be interested, please contact me through palantir and we can work something out :) Agzu 13:03, 1 August 2008 (BST)

Horses for Courses
Hello. I was wondering whether your fine Horsie Mercer was available at stud? I am looking for a new mate for my mare Beata, a Winged Horsie, ex-pwny egg. Please feel free to browse my horsie pedigrees here. I am most easily contacted at my user talk page. harvestbird 11:28, 15 August 2008 (BST)
- Certainly. Are you happy with the extent of the documentation on my stables page? The only thing I don't duplicate is the dates of mating and birth, since these are recorded on the main pedigree page, although I may add these to my records later. harvestbird 09:54, 16 August 2008 (BST)
For Science!
I'm currently at the Statuesque Pentacle at the 'King's Festival. I can stay here and await your convenience (I'm playing the game on NZST so there may be delays of a few hours if you're there during my night-time). harvestbird 09:15, 17 August 2008 (BST)
Introducing Haberdasher
