That calculation sounds right, I can meet you anytime and anywhere you like. How about meeting at the HAS Trading Post?

I'm at the trading post now as well.

Your order has been completed (Was fast, huh?). I'll be at the HAS Trading Post and check regularly if you're there. Contact me if you want to meet somewhere else. Rockefellow 07:37, 16 August 2007 (BST)

You should have everything now. Please check if everything's there, and maybe leave feedback at the HAS page
Ooops, forgot about that. Can we meet up somewhere so that you can give me that spare Tunnel Kit?
Any place is fine. But I'd appreciate if you could wait another hour or two until my AP are back above 0, so that I can get back to the party.
Got the tunnel kit. Thanks again.

Elan

Hey, I notice you dropped Ethelinda on me today. Intentional, or mistake, and if it was the latter, who's it supposed to go to? -- Elan 03:20, 4 April 2009 (BST)

X-Himy

Saw that you were looking for team members. I was born earth, currently air, likely to change to water or fire sometime soon, and interested in joining a team.

Jon

Hi Solune, I saw your offer for one of the books (can't recall which right now) and I'm interested but out of AP until late Saturday/early Sunday.. thanks! -Jon 05:10, 18 November 2006 (GMT)

High Tower Scholarships

Well! It's been 11 days since I started the motion for Knight Shamans to grab my extras, and they haven't responded. I'm opening the inventory back up to High Tower members, and you were the only one interested. When would you like to meet to get all my Time Warps? If I need more, I can just craft 'em. 06:24, 11 April 2008 (BST)

I didn't keep track of how many of each letter I put in, but I can certainly say 64 of the Time Warps in that vault were mine. They're now yours; any extra returned would be appreciated, but I don't expect any leftovers when you're done. 07:44, 13 April 2008 (BST)

Harvey and the Me Page

Just responded to your question in the Harvey Quest discussion page. ('Cause, yeah, I czech those things.) Apparently, as I don't have a note on my Me page, either, it's normal. macksting 07:02, 12 November 2006 (GMT)

Proposed Trade

Woof!
Okay, so let's go over that.

  • A magic mining permit's for antihistas, right? I haven't determined a particular need for those quite yet, so I'll get back to you on it.
  • The lending of those bane swords would mean breaking other glass swords whenever I strike with them, correct? Or is there another solution? What happens when you use a Bane Glass Sword and it's the only glass sword in your inventory? (Or is the answer, "don't?") Nevertheless, I know enough to know I should borrow those from you. Is this charity, or a rental?
  • The CDs are a great straight trade; I'm game.
  • What do you want for that consonant?

Are you at the party? Doc Mackie 01:19, 8 April 2007 (BST)

* So in the case of the bane swords, put my two spares away and make sure they don't see the light of day during this process. I'll also keep them around in a bag just in case one of your Banes does break somehow; I'm not sure how one goes about replacing such things, but it wouldn't hurt to have the raw material around. In rental, I propose two Merz bows. Could that go for the machetes as well?
* How about a 6 Iron for that Consonant? I've got 11 of them.
Well, see you soonish. 18:43, 8 April 2007 (BST)
So a Merz bow and a bunch of arrows wouldn't do it? I've always thought of them as nice artillery.
I'll look for something. Doc Mackie 17:35, 10 April 2007 (BST)

Returned Swords

Your Head Hunter and Thief swords served me very well. I'll be returning them to you, perhaps, Monday evening PST. Available then? macksting 20:34, 24 May 2007 (BST)

Would this be an industry I'd be unable to help with? I recently became a Shaman, so you can see why I'd ask. Anyway, I'll be there then. 17:26, 25 May 2007 (BST)

Invisibility Error

Yeah, as I said in my report, I'd already done so... Still, it was my only damn copy of the spell. S. Mackie 22:14, 6 July 2007 (BST)

Regarding Yitscar and the Trail of Trials

So! I'll have to fetch some ice cream, and I've been consuming those spells some lately. Could I just lend you my spellbook for a little while? On the condition that they must return safely? The amount of mana and AP I spent on them might just be worth a record, between the two 1st-level books involved, but I'd really like to help. 10:55, 27 August 2007 (BST)

I'll hand over all relevant scrolls, as well. And my Vodka Martinis. They have negative secondary effects, but you'll appreciate the mana. 08:27, 28 August 2007 (BST)
Suits me. I did mention the martinis, right? Hmm... We really need to hold a pentacle for Yitscar, but parties abound lately.
If you don't have the mana to use the spellbooks yet, do please show up so I can get all useful spells to you, and we'll swap the spellbooks over to you shortly before you enter the trail. S. Mackie 18:47, 29 August 2007 (BST)
Addendum: Not really upset, just concerned. We'd been out of contact for a few days, and I'd already told two or three people I wasn't taking gifts of records at this point because I'd worked out a deal with somebody. You can see why this would become a little... scary. 18:54, 29 August 2007 (BST)
Don't mistake this for impatience, I'm just kinda wondering. How far along are you thus far?
Although I gotta admit, I miss access to Impending Kick. S. Mackie 06:50, 18 September 2007 (BST)

Dithat

Plonk, for the record, is cheap wine of the sort drunk by hobos, prisoners, and other people who can't afford the decent stuff.

Kaos Dragon

Thanks anyway. See ya.

Duke solune MD says 'Good luck with the hat, I won't take it back'

Yeah, I can imagine. I thought it would be fun at the moment, but it makes me look like an idiot :-) If I had some AP left, I would heal you though, but I blew them all with the hat nicking and it is Standing Stone time now. Conzy 11:14, 14 July 2006 (BST)

Most Honourable Apprentice solune MD the party hat-nicker wrote: "Hi, I see you haven't done the gauntlet yet. If you're patient enough to wait until you are a wizard there are a few interesting spells to try."

Thanks for the advice, but I don't aspire a career as a Wizard at the moment (although it seems cool IRL ;-)). I thought it would be wise to finish everything as a "Knight" (well, I'm just a little shrimp, but you know what I mean) first, maybe I'm wrong?
Now that I've read your comment, I guess you can only do the Gauntlet once, there is no way to do it again as a Wizard? For now, I just want to get over with it, so I can travel through the Great Desert without the inconvenience that it cost me last time.
Greetings, Conzy 14:11, 4 January 2007 (GMT)

ROFL! OK, so what do you call those days in March and September, then? Equinoxes? (Hmmm, idea...) -- Sertularian 22:48, 18 February 2007 (GMT)

Armourer Syagrius

I closed up the div tag in the ==== section. It looks better even with IE :) Glad you like it - I borrowed the idea from your testing section. Syagrius 06:00, 9 August 2006 (BST)

  • Spellbooks - I've got 2 in stock at the moment. I charge materials plus, uh, something. Bronze or gold pieces are both good and appreciated. I'm not sure what they're worth (they cost me 50ap to make). What do you offer? I'm in oz at the moment totem-hopping, if it makes any difference. Syagrius 15:35, 21 November 2006 (GMT)
True, but I have no speedboat, so anything on islands takes me a bit of ap to get to, and I have no damage modifier, so fighting things is out. I also figured that I wouldn't have full AP for the quest, so any shortcut while actually underway was a bonus - even though it cost me a lot of ap to prepare. Your offer is good. How many books are you looking for? Syagrius 15:23, 22 November 2006 (GMT)
Yes, you did mention 2 books, I just failed to notice it ;) I'll meet you there in Crimson City tomorrow when I have ap again. Syagrius 03:27, 23 November 2006 (GMT)
Sure, I'll trade off my extra stuff - you can see from my totem page what I haven't used, and they're available for trade. Make me an offer I can't refuse ;) Syagrius 19:10, 23 November 2006 (GMT)
Trade initiated, please return the bag :) Syagrius 01:34, 24 November 2006 (GMT)
Oh, and I handed over a gram of fairy powder and a pomegranate, as I had several of each while running the totems. The pint of fairy liquid I had to trade for, the powder I bought from a market. Syagrius 01:49, 24 November 2006 (GMT)

Thanks for the feedback. I set the new shop up really late last night and just threw a bunch of prices out there. I'll be adjusting some of them later today. Zingus 13:31, 8 September 2006 (BST)

HealthBar

Thanks for the test and screenshot! - jmb 19:26, 10 September 2006 (BST)

What tuning were you thinking of? I was interested to see that in your screenshot the bar looked a lot higher than here. It's configured as 8px high, but in your pic it looks to be the same height as your text - I wonder what size text you have there and whether that's zoomed, or what screen res you use?

Ah.. removing that innerHTML line causes the DIV to collapse to nothing on firefox. I didn't like it to start with, but couldn't find a better choice - I was trying to avoid having an IMG in there too.
Removed the extra alert/confirm, thanks. It must have been late last night :) Was trying to track down a problem where the script crashed FF depending on how many people were visible... jmb 09:05, 13 September 2006 (BST)

Billz8

I'm irritated because I feel like I'm being personally targeted, while others are not. For instance, when XXXXXXXXXX changed my post there to direct people to HIS shop, it went entirely unnoticed. When I changed it back, it was gone within a couple of hours. It seems unfair that I can't restore what has been there literally since shops became a part of the game.

I also can't understand what negative effect that post has. It's in-game, it's posted where it will be of most use to the people interested, and it does not affect anyone else's gameplay. In other words, if people weren't checking the recent changes page to monitor what I do, they would never even know it was there...unless they were looking for cucumber sandwiches in the first place. Why can't you allow two paragraphs of text to exist on a page that doesn't affect you? Billz8 17:45, 8 April 2007 (BST)

Bebe GM script

Any reason why you don't want to advertise this? I wouldn't go and write a new one if I know your script exist! (Time better spent playing cities, you know). Do you want to put a link to your script on the Bebe googles page too? LittleHamster 11:51, 13 September 2006 (BST)

Geayzus

Hey hey, just leaving a note that I passed you a t-shirt at the party. - Geayzus 16:03, 13 December 2006 (GMT)

harvestbird

That's generous indeed: how does 10 000 GP plus 10 pieces of ancient wood for the lot sound? Plus I have an opal bling if you would like it (somewhat used); I took "see monster health" as my Christmas present and don't need it anymore.

I am currently at the party at 3E 7N or could meet you at a trading post in Windy City, if you prefer. Should be on-line at least a couple more times today. harvestbird 20:26, 31 December 2006 (GMT)

Now at 3E 6N, the Windy City trading post. harvestbird 08:10, 1 January 2007 (GMT) (happy new year)

Stelio

One or two? Have four! Because you're worth it. :-D (And because I may have quite a few left over from the stocking up that I did when preparing for Stevie-O's Pub Crawl Trek.) Your butter would be greatly appreciated. :-) Thank you! -Stelio 20:58, 17 February 2007 (GMT)

Wow! Now there's an offer I can't refuse. It might be a complex and messy affair, but a chance to progress Calm Breeze through what would otherwise be impossible? Definitely worth me saying, "Yes!" :-D Now this should be planned carefully in advance in order to work properly.

  • As you say, a Wormhole ought to do the trick (in the absence of handy Trading Posts through the Trail). It would be good if we could establish roughly how many trades can be performed through the Wormhole before it collapses.
  • Another alternative is for someone to go through the Trail and collect twice as many keys as required: clearing a room, waiting for respawns, then clearing again. Calm Breeze could then wander through with all keys ready in advance, using Toad Spells where appropriate and so on. That's rather boring for the person who goes through first though.
  • If it helps at all, check out Calm Breeze's inventory. His Level 1 spell book contains: Bind Spirit, Bind Elemental, Wizards Retreat, and Toad. Note that he also carries a Talisman to the Trail of Trials already.

-Stelio 08:58, 26 October 2007 (BST)

Oh, and I'm away this weekend so you won't hear from me. I'm generally available evenings, nights and weekends and live in the same time zone as the game. But not this weekend. :-) -Stelio 08:59, 26 October 2007 (BST)
Right: I'm around tonight and all of this weekend (with the exception of a visit to my parents' at a time of my choosing on Saturday). Is this a convenient period for you for tackling the Trials? I'm going to do some planning to see what Calm Breeze is missing in order to complete the Trail. :-) -Stelio 19:18, 2 November 2007 (GMT) (PS: would it be easier to discuss stuff and indeed complete the challenge using IRC?)
I've done some planning. See the page here where we can more usefully continue the discussion. I see that it's going to take lots of AP to complete, so will probably take several days. The major amount of work is on your shoulders, so I'll happily fit around your availability. Calm Breeze has about 160,000 GP at the moment; do you need any supplies in order to complete the mission? And more importantly what possible reward can I offer you for this once in a lifetime opportunity and your overwhelming kindness? -Stelio 20:19, 2 November 2007 (GMT)

Thanks very much for taking the trouble to look into the Trail of Trails for Calm Breeze. It's a shame you can't pull it off, but I'll not go touting for aid from other people. :-) In other news, would you like me to summon you to some werewolves on the South coast of Oz? -Stelio 08:31, 6 November 2007 (GMT)

Gonzometro

That sounds like a fair offer. I'm at the Windy City Blues Festival right now, but given the current game problems, trading should be postponed until they fix the problem. Gonzometro 23:32, 27 February 2007 (GMT)

I have also acquired a Murder bow (Morpheus Bane) that might come in handy acquiring You Spin Me. I don't need anything for it, so if you want it just let me know.Gonzometro 22:23, 6 March 2007 (GMT)

jmb

Want to hold off on that Beetle Miracle for a bit? There seems to be this bug where two Pills are needed, which results in a 20% evil Pet - I'm happy to wait until that's fixed. - jmb 02:14, 14 June 2007 (BST)

Aha - at last I remember who I gave the beetle to! The resurrect bug is fixed now, apparently, so if you're still happy to do the res, now would be great - otherwise perhaps I could have her back? - jmb 18:04, 8 October 2007 (BST)

User_talk:ancev

About the teleport kit, I wait, no problem! Palantir me when you´re ready!

i will consult the other armourers for the price: i thought it was 150k, but then noticed that it isnt defined anywhere
ok, its 120,000 plus all the material, including the 40,000 that is consumed in the process (thus 160,000 gp in total). Tell me where we meet, or even summon me, if you prefer!

Durkon

So from what I've been told on IRC, it's theorized that Wizards Retreat and Teleport to Shop both work from space. No idea if Astral Plain does or not.

If you want to put Wizards Retreat on an Eye Pod, I will promise to leave as soon as I get there (i.e. I just want to leave space, not to harvest stuff). I'm trying to see if we have Sheeps Eyes and the spell in the HAS store rooms (I'm in serious AP debt at the moment). --Durkon 20:40, 3 October 2007 (BST)

Hi Solune. If you need to get rid of the dragon in a hurry I'm happy to help - I have much food. Happy to go hunting for jellyfish to. However I already have one so if someone who doesn't wants it, give them preference... Phw 21:08, 22 February 2009 (GMT)

I am happy to pay the 2,000ap in anyway you would like. i don't have a book or the spells. i am happy to transcribe anything you like though if you provide the materials
i'm going to spend 2000ap hunting down spice. i shall palantir you with what i gain. Zoological 10:19, 7 October 2007 (BST)

Ah, okay. I could have sworn that I read the other day on the Monsters page that they are specifically scared by broad swords. My bad. Fraggle 13:48, 26 November 2007 (GMT)
