In case you were wondering how to make links to categories, it works this way. By the way contragulations on adding all the Users, I would never had had the courage.--Solune 16:29, 25 November 2006 (GMT)

Thanks! :-D I was pretty sure that there had to be a way, but my quick experiments didn't uncover it. I'm afraid that I somewhat dominated the Recent Canges page on Friday night. Once I'd started removing unnecessary links, I moved onto editing the links to make use of the alphabetical ordering, and then I thought that I really ought to add other users too. Before I knew it, I'd spent an hour working on it. I just hope that the folks I've forgotten don't get offended that I missed their pages. ;-) -Stelio 13:12, 26 November 2006 (GMT)
*chuckle* I managed to find this page so now I've hit every user page there currently exists. I'll leave new users to figure it out for themselves. That's this task finished. -Stelio 14:48, 26 November 2006 (GMT)

I'd completely forgotten about TerrainMap. I'll have another look over this weekend and see if it's still worth doing anything with. cheers - jmb 12:49, 30 September 2006 (BST)

Pet Sitting

If you give me enough Issues I'd gladly take care of your peeve while you're away. Flt 13:13, 21 August 2007 (BST)

Issues are tradeable. If you select one, you can "Disturb" a player for 1 AP. That will cost you an issue and give me one. However, if that doesn't work out the way i think it does, I'll of course uphold my offer.
I'll be at the Water City Trading Post (Swap Shop) from this evening cities time on and will wait for you to disturb my peaceful waiting. Flt 13:17, 22 August 2007 (BST)
I'm at the Swap Shop now. No payment necessary, but if you happen to have some spells you don't find a use for, I want to point out that I became an apprentice today

Welcome back! Grr is happy and well fed, I couldn't take him to further training though. I'm at the current party, so the most convenient trading post for me would be the Atlantish Trading Post. I can summon you there if you can't reach it otherwise. Flt 07:47, 28 August 2007 (BST)

Grr is back with you. And don't worry about the summon stone.

Wiki formatting

There's no real and easy way of doing that without javascript or Cite (another wiki extention that allows something similar) Depending of what is the objective you still can use a couple tricks. If you want to hide some sort of spoiler you can always use

a black cell like this

Or you can use home made foot notes linking like: [[page#heading|title]] like for example. It's more complicated, and you should add another link back to the original part of the text (where the first link was) like [[User talk:Stelio#Wiki formatting|Back]] That way you can keep all the extra info in the lower part of the page and provide links to it. But as I said before it all depends on what you want to achieve, let me know what you need it for and maybe I can come up with something more usefull (perhaps creating pages and linking back and forth? or even hiding the text with no includes and provide a link to edit that so they can read it?)--Che-T 00:05, 23 July 2007 (BST)

I found this and thought of you.

But not in a gay way.

--Che-T 22:04, 25 July 2007 (BST)

Hey, I just realized that the version for this wiki have been updated, allowing a lot more stuff to be made (at least tabs and templates that include templates in them). maybe now we can find something you like --Che-T۞ 08:14, 8 July 2008 (BST)

Sure, I'll get right on it. I'm really busy with work right now, but eventually I'll get those Roc rocks to you. Poleris

Lucky Smells Goldfish Kennels

You willing/able to sit 1-3 goldfish for I hope just a few days, but maybe longer? See the kennels page for details. Snarfer 11:57, 20 April 2007 (BST)

Thanks for the offer, just gathering a couple AP for the trip. Snarler has just come back from hunting Snakes. Snarfire will be with you right away. Snarfer 18:19, 20 April 2007 (BST)

I'm back, yay! Leave me a note on my talk page where and when to meet. Snarfer 01:28, 28 April 2007 (BST)

Snarler and Snarfire are in Earth City, TP NE of Immemorial Park. Snarfer 12:06, 30 April 2007 (BST)

Dawn Horn

Many thanks, but I did find a dawn horn on a market and kill off that quest. I appreciate the offer. Billz8 23:51, 31 January 2007 (GMT)

Pacifist GNUs

Given that that information was written in march, I fear that that particular species of GNUs was brought to extinction by warmongers like you. If you decide to fight weak monsters, I suggest that you buy yourself a wand of anger and a cruel blade, as poking sticks tend to break easily.--Solune 21:21, 13 October 2006 (BST)

I felt that it was more providing a service to the 'King by clearing out old instances of monsters to allow the newer-coded monsters to spawn. :-) And as you say, I was planning on using a cruel blade (admittedly there isn't one in my inventory yet, but I'll pick one up from the markets before returning to the interior). I hadn't however considered that they may have all died out by now. Still, if I see any, I'll have a go at clearing them up. Thinking about it, it would be interesting to see what they drop since the items will have been defined at the time that they were spawned, possibly from slightly different tables.
Oh, and I meant "poking" more as a generic attacking verb. (Hmm. I was going to link to a definition on Urban Dictionary, but of course "poke" has several other conotations best left out of this wiki.) But thanks for taking an interest and offering good advice. I'm guessing that "Mission: GNU slaying" stood out somewhat on the Recent Changes page? :-D Stelio 02:48, 14 October 2006 (BST)
Given that a while ago some code was put in that kills off monsters after a while, I believe that there will be no more of these pacifist GNUs left alive now. Surely they will all have since passed on due to old age. Ah well. -Stelio 22:08, 16 November 2006 (GMT)

Dragon blood table

I should inform you that most of the totals are not up to date. From time to time I look into the individual use table and update one line, but the #6 to #1-10 summaries are still far from the actual data--Solune 14:41, 16 October 2006 (BST)

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have a go at updating everything at some point then, possibly setting up a spreadsheet to allow me to semi-automate updating it in the future if anyone else adds their own experiences. :-) Thanks, Stelio 14:46, 16 October 2006 (BST) (PS: I don't always reply this fast! Just happened to be browsing the wiki at the same time.)

Stevie-O

We may need to start the Pub Crawl Trek about an hour early. Is that OK?

Ah, sadly I assumed that all was well and so didn't connect until shortly before midnight. But other folks were kind enough to carry the torch and keep it burning. The Pub Crawl Trek was a grand success, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. :-) Cheers! Stelio 01:47, 23 October 2006 (BST)

Bubba°esque

So, I gave 120 Fleeces. If I'll receive a Wolly Set somewhere in the future, that'd be swell.

More then enough. Welp, I guess I could do some knitting then. Squeeze me in the rota then, ey? --Bubba_the_Shy 14:16, 2 November 2006 (GMT)
P.S. Could you reply on my talk page in the future. Otherwise it can take some time before I randomly stumble on your talk page...

I like Calm Breeze's concept, and the page is great! (I have a sneaking suspicion CB is not as completely non-violent as we are led to believe, though.) Nice job! -- Sertularian 22:54, 13 November 2006 (GMT)

Thanks for the offer, but I still have plenty of Erotic Cocktails.  :) I had to bag all my booze before attempting the Trail of Trials. Good luck with Calm Breeze's adventures in Wizardry, by the way. -- Sertularian 21:05, 15 April 2007 (BST)

I'm PAYGing you about why I removed that link.  :) -- Sertularian 04:26, 29 April 2007 (BST)

== Naius == talk You were talking about parrots on Sert's page, with reference to Calm Breeze. I have called out several names, but have no parrot kills credited, so I think you may be mistaken. Naius 20:06, 14 December 2006 (GMT)

Spugmeistress

hi stelio, ta for the message :) my inventory should be visible here i would be more than happy to take the cards off your hands, and also the pointy boots :D i have all the others, but ta for offering. tisn't much, but i can offer a triffid sting per item? (13 altogether) then you only have 19 to go! if calm breeze hasn't got one already, i can give him a cloak of invisibility as well, love the journal i'd appreciate a summon to the party if thats ok, you can have your summon stone back afters

p.s. put me on the list for the next knitting party, i have a few balls of wool already and wads of wool already but would love to share the load :)

cheers, rach =) Spugmeistress 15:57, 4 December 2006 (GMT)

ta for the summon and the stuff stelio, you are a very generous soul :) i'll keep an eye out for the breezey one and have my first aid kit at the ready ;) Spugmeistress 12:10, 5 December 2006 (GMT)

me again! the trading post says you are after roc rocks? well i am up north, where there are tons of rocs to be hunted, but am in need of flying fish amongst other things. up for a trade when i am back in the kingdom? Spugmeistress 19:30, 9 March 2007 (GMT)

flying fish would be very much appreciated, i have about 20 roc rocks spare at the moment, but will probably have more by the time I ge back to the 'kingdom - how many are you looking for and what kind of exchange rate? Spugmeistress 15:31, 15 March 2007 (GMT)
p.s. i'm at the party now, if you're interested Spugmeistress 00:38, 18 March 2007 (GMT)
it's a shame to hear about your goldfish :( hopefully the roc rocks will make you feel better! i'm at the party in bentnob if you are up for it, same questions as above still apply :) Spugmeistress 00:16, 26 March 2007 (BST)
i need 50 fish, so two fish per rock for 25 rocks sound fair to you? i can throw in a summon to the party with that as well, so you can get ap for any extra fishing, are you ready to be summoned? Spugmeistress 01:36, 26 March 2007 (BST)
summon'd, see you laters :) Spugmeistress 16:26, 26 March 2007 (BST)
i stupidly forgot, and went to do a bit of shopping at the southern market and now don't have much ap, however i intend to stay in the 'kingdom for a while to collect more fags, ale and seaweed fronds. i'm also in need of wheat and cucumbers. want to wait til we're both at a party or arrange a meetup? i changed my mind, i'm at the party and have summoned you there too, hope thats ok :) Spugmeistress 02:23, 27 March 2007 (BST)

Corellis

Hello, thanks for the message! I've just grown some wheat, and I'm looking to grow more once I slaughter more hapless ducks and Rocs. I'll be at the Valentine's party, so maybe I'll see you there. I'm currently on a quest to get more string so I can make a fishing net. Aheh. Corells 17:13 12 Feb 2007 (GMT)

Hope you enjoy Amsterdam! I can offer my services, but I don't know if I can get a water player. I'll just keep on shouting out at the party then. Hehe. -- 13:36, 10 April 2007 (GMT)

Solune

I was thinking of a way to get Calm Breeze through the trail of trials. It involves a wormhole kit and some good team-work, provided that keys are tradable. What do you think ?--Solune 22:08, 25 October 2007 (BST)

>Another alternative is for someone to go through the Trail and collect twice as many keys as required:

Unfortunately you can't do that: when you cross a door, it will take all of your keys. The only exceptions are fangs and largos, which you can keep without making a key out of them.
Now, both of my characters have done this quest twice, but they might be able to enter a third time. I should check that. In any way I'm offering my wormhole kit to you. --Solune 23:26, 26 October 2007 (BST)
Oh yeah Yitscar would be pleased to be summoned to a werewolf--Solune 17:17, 6 November 2007 (GMT)

Durkon

Hey, in case you haven't seen the talk on the talk page, we'd love to have Calm Breeze in the Hammered Anvil Society, and are putting together a bag of stuff to ease his transition to Wizardhood. Just add him to the HAS page when you're ready, and let Rockefellow know so he can get a vault key. -- Durkon 22:07, 7 April 2007 (BST)

Smudgepuss

Thank you!

Armourer Sy

Sure, I'll make one for ya. Syagrius 15:26, 19 April 2007 (BST)

Gold is always good. I've got a personal quest I'm on, and it's likely to get expensive for me :) Syagrius 04:54, 20 April 2007 (BST)

LARP

Sadly I'm not doing The Gathering this year.

I've only really fought in the Oxford Uni system, The White City. http://flrp.anang.com/whitecity/ There's a couple dozen of us, we run fairly linear larps every weekend in some woods near Oxford during term. It's a good laugh. I'm planning to attend the next Firefly Larp as well, a bit of a new experience... Ulf 01:40, 12 July 2007 (BST)

The original machine you signed up on has a security key on it. If you don't have that, you'll need to email the programmer and ask for it (give him you cities ID exactly as specified. Capitalisation is important). Once you have that, navigate firefox to about:config and you can find 'glendale' and enter the security key.

You also need GPS on (either intrinsic or a GPS) in order to use it. It doesn't work where you have no idea re: lat/long...

Pimping your horsie huh? I have Rockin' - a male stud of some repute! Drop me a line - am at the current party. Phw 21:12, 28 November 2007 (GMT)

Eh, whatever. I don't remember having three dumped on me by anybody but some Greg, but I have no doubt you contributed. 19:17, 31 August 2007 (BST)
I'll make a note of it, but right now I'd best assume my needs are met. If it hits late October and this deal doesn't go through for some reason, I'll need precisely two records. Meanwhile, best hold on to them; thank you for identifying yourself for my Christmas list. S. Mackie 23:44, 1 September 2007 (BST)

Order of the Club

I've added you as number three (pending a possible rejection from Belkar, which I don't expect). Just out of curiosity, how did you find it? We haven't even started advertising or put it on the main page yet... Azuaron

Pirate

Summoned you to a trading post and gave you your arrows and 180k gold, bit less then we agreed upon due to the how high the health that remained was,I wound up accidentally killing it after forgetting I was only supposed to harm it for my daemonic weapon :P Getting 1000 arrows or so sounds like a good idea now. >.> Gaby 00:03, 26 April 2008 (BST)
